Register Now for ASA Workshops!
ASA will be holding its workshop series in various locations beginning in December. All December workshops will be on the subject of legal issues affecting distributors.
These one-day workshops will include discussions on recent changes in Hazmat rules as well as Commercial Parts. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions about issues directly affecting their business. It's important to stay up-to-date on industry changes!
We're returning to Atlanta for a workshop for the first time in a long time. If your company is located in the Atlanta area, come out to the workshop! Thank you to Aventure International Aviation Services for hosting the workshop.
As a benefit, ASA Members receive discounted registration to all workshops. Register now to reserve your seat! Registration is now available for the following workshops:
| Miramar, FL | December 7, 2010 |
| Atlanta, GA | December 8, 2010 |
| Newark, NJ | December 10, 2010 |
| Seattle, WA | January 25, 2011 |

Save the Date - 2011 Annual Conference
The ASA 2011 Annual Conference will take place in Washington, DC, July 17-19, 2011 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center. The conference will once again be in conjunction with the AFRA Annual General Meeting. Room block information and registration will be available soon. Keep checking our website for updates.
FAA Publishes SMS Proposal
The FAA has made its proposal for SMS changes. These changes are certain to affect distributors. Read the proposal here and be sure to read The Update Report's cover article from Issue 6 on what might have been expected in the proposal.
Illegal Use of ASA's Logos
ASA now has three logos, all of which are trademarked and carry clear financial value to the users. All three of ASA's logos have license agreements that must be signed before companies are allowed to use the logo. If you see any company using one of ASA's logos illegally, please report them to us and we will determine the best course of action. If you have any questions or need a license agreement for one of the logos, please contact us. The three logos are below for identification purposes.
