ASA Board Election Results

The 2012 ASA Board of Directors election results are in and the winners are:

Continuing Education Workshops – Registration Open for Singapore 

It’s not too late to register for the Singapore Workshops. Register Now! Being held just two (2) days before MRO Asia, this one-day workshop will focus on Export, Regulations, and current “hot” topics in the industry. If there are any important regional topics of interest that you’d like to have discussed, please email Dawn Carberry.

New Unapproved Parts Notifications 

A new Unapproved Parts Notifications has been released:

 

·         Schatz Bearing Corporation, located in Poughkeepsie, NY & National Precision Bearing Group (a division of Mechatronics, Inc.), located in Preston, WA – Sold parts without FAA approval.

 

 

Misuse of ASA Trademark – Aviation Support Europe Added*

ASA recognizes the value of ASA’s logos for users, and ASA actively protects the Association name and benefits given to its members. There are three different logos, all of which are trademarked: ASA Membership, ASA-100 Accreditation and ASACB. If you see any company using one of ASA's logos illegally, please report them to us and we will determine the best course of action. In addition to checking the Member Directory and ASA-100 list, please visit the Illegal Use of Logo page if you have questions about a company claiming affiliation to ASA.

Quality Committee Meeting – Register Now (no fee required)

The next Quality Committee meeting is scheduled for December 5th in Dallas, TX.
