**NEW** Super Saver Rate – Register for ASA 2014 before December 31st & Save up to 20%

ASA is temporarily slashing rates for ASA 2014 registration! Register by December 31st and receive the Super Saver Rate of $620 for regular attendees and $1320 for exhibitors. ASA 2014 will be held at the Fairmont Hotel - Georgetown in Washington, DC, June 15-17. Celebrating 20 Years! – Commitment to leadership in Distributor quality auditing

Among ASA’s initial goals was to support distributor accreditation. This led to the creation of the ASA-100 standard. However, one standard may not be right for all companies and therefore ASA has supported ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120. ASA commitment to the broader needs of the distribution community has led to an MOU of support and shared information with the International Aerospace Quality Group and the Americas Aerospace Quality Group. ASA using the dba ASACB has also become an ANAB accredited certification body for ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120. ASACB specializes in aerospace audits with specific focus on distributors and small manufacturers. The Association also hosts the List of Accredited Distributors using FAA AC 00-56. This service allows the industry to share information on companies that have had their quality system audited by a third party. The audit follows the details in FAA AC 00-56.

 

 

Unique URL’s on ASA Website for Members

ASA is now offering members the option of having a unique URL linked to their listing in the Membership Directory. For more information and to get your company’s unique URL, contact Dawn Carberry.

 

 

Quality Assurance Committee Meeting

ASA held the last QA Meeting on November 15th in Dallas, TX. Thank you for all of those who attended and provided your insight and experience. For those who attended, you can find all of the meeting documents at http://www.aviationsuppliers.org/Quality-Committee-News after signing in.

 

 

Misuse of ASA Trademark

ASA recognizes the value of ASA’s logos for users, and ASA actively protects the Association name and benefits given to its members. There are three different logos, all of which are trademarked: ASA Membership, ASA-100 Accreditation and ASACB. If you see any company using one of ASA's logos illegally, please report them to us and we will determine the best course of action. In addition to checking the Member Directory and ASA-100 list, please visit the Illegal Use of Logo page if you have questions about a company claiming affiliation to ASA.
