Nominations For The Edward J. Glueckler Award
The Edward J. Glueckler Award is presented annually in recognition of outstanding commitment, dedication and contribution to the Aviation Suppliers Association and to the aviation industry. The winner will be announced at ASA 2012, June 24-26 in Seattle,WA.
Nominees do not have to be members of ASA, but anyone submitting a nomination must be an ASA Member. Nominations are due Friday, May 18, 2012.

New Unapproved Parts Notification
A new Unapproved Parts Notification was released regarding manufactured parts without FAA authorization and parts not marked in accordance with FAA requirements. These parts were sold by Think Big Products, LLC (d/b/a LivingXL, Casual Male) in Canton, MA.
Quality Assurance Committee Meeting
The next QA Meeting will take place during the ASA 2012 Annual Conference in Seattle, WA. The QA Meeting is scheduled for June 24th. Registration and details are available on the website. http://www.aviationsuppliers.org/?bid=31
