Celebrating 20 Years! – Accreditation
ASA worked directly with the FAA in writing AC00-56, the “Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program”, and hosts the database on its website. ASA-100, ASA’s own quality system standard, is the leading certification of companies listed in the database. ASA’s quality committee advises ASA on issues regarding the standard, during its biannual meetings. These meetings consist of ASA members and non-members alike who share information regarding the challenges and solutions with quality and business practices, as well as discuss continuous improvement of ASA-100.
ASA is proud to celebrate 20 years in the aviation distributor industry and we would like to recognize our initial set of ASA-100 accredited companies and thank them for their continued support of the Association and ASA-100 accreditation program since its inception in 1996:
- Avio-Diepen, Inc.
- Aviosupport, Inc.

ASA is Now an Accredited Registrar for AS9100 and AS9120
ASA, using the tradename ASACB, is now accredited to conduct AS9100 and AS9120 audits. ASACB’s accreditation is through ANAB and allows ASACB to issue accredited certificates for AS9100 and AS9120 which, among many things, means that the audit results and certificates will be listed in the IAQG OASIS database. ASACB is pleased to announce its first AS9100 company is Patriot Taxiway Industries located in Lomira, WI. Patriot Taxiway designs, engineers, manufactures and distributes lighting products for both aerospace and military applications. They are a disabled veteran owned business. If you are interested in AS9100, AS9120, ISO 9001 or ASA-100 audit, contact the group that knows the aerospace and distribution industry – ASA!
