EASA Proposal Would Recognize ASA-100 Accredited Suppliers
A new draft rule has been published by EASA which would recognize distributor accreditation. NPA-2012-03 “Control of Suppliers of Components and Material Used in Maintenance” is now open for comment on the EASA Website. ASA was part of the working group that developed this guidance, and you can find a full description with links to the rule and the comment response tool on the ASA Blog. Hazmat Training Dates
The U.S. Department of Transportation requires all individuals engaged in handling hazardous materials to be trained at least once every three years. Washington Aviation Group conducts a Hazmat Training course to which ASA Members receive discounted registration! Early Bird Registration is open for the next course, May 16-17 in Miramar, FL.
