ASACB News!!
ASA Certification Body (ASACB) offering
certifications to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 and AS9120.
ASACB is now offering certification to ISO 9001:2015. ASACB has filed an application for AS9110 and is in the middle of the application process, currently going through the witness audit process. There are numerous changes in the ISO world and those changes will be discussed during an online training session to be held on April 12th. This will start a series of training for ISO transition for current ASACB companies.
ASACB is NOW approved to provide ISO 9001:2015.
AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120 News
All three standards will be revised to reflect the release of ISO 9001:2015 and additional changes. The timeframe for transitioning will be shorter than the ISO 9001:2015 transition timeframe of 9/15/2018. The Aerospace timeframe is expected to be 6/15/2018. The RMC working group plans to release the revised standards in April 2016 along with SR-003 which will detail the transition process. ASA attends these meetings and will be providing information to the membership and its ASACB clients. Auditor training will start end of August 2016.
Coordinate Your Audit Certification Needs!
Specific to Aviation Parts Distributors, ASACB can offer combined Aerospace or ISO audits to include FAA AC 00-56 and ASA-100.
Are You Currently ISO Certified? If yes, then you need to start to plan for transition to ISO 9001:2015. ASA has information on the differences between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015; transition timelines; FAQs and suggested objective evidence to support transition.
