US Court of Appeals Dismisses ASA Petition, ASA Files Appeal
US Court of Appeals Issued a Per Curiam Order dismissing the ASA Petition for Review of Guidance and Notice Issued by the FAA. ASA Board of Directors has directed Washington Aviation Group to file an appeal. These issues are very complex and it was difficult for the judges to understand all the uses of the 8130 and the idea that there are two documents the Maintenance Annex and the Maintenance Annex Guidance. The appeal does not require oral arguments. We will keep you posted on the outcome. In the meanwhile, don't forget to look at the DAR 56 program to see if it can provide any relief for existing inventories.
